Frequently asked questions

What exactly is an "in-room private spa"?+

A wellness feature (jacuzzi, hammam, sauna or Nordic bath) installed in the room, suite or on its private terrace, reserved solely for your party, no time slot to book, no sharing. The most common format in France is a 2-person jacuzzi built into the bathroom or terrace.

What budget should I plan for a night with a private spa?+

Resapass rates are negotiated with our partners.

What's the difference between a private spa and a suite with spa access?+

A suite "with spa access" grants you the hotel's shared spa, often by time slot. A suite "with a private spa" builds the feature into your room: it's yours alone, no schedule, no sharing. That's the format we list here.

Is it suitable for a special occasion (anniversary, proposal)?+

Yes, it's the main use case. Most properties offer packages: flower decoration, bottle of champagne, in-room breakfast. Mention the occasion at booking, Resapass forwards the request to the hotel.

Can you find this type of stay everywhere in France?+

The richest regions are Alsace, Provence, the French Riviera, Bordeaux and Paris. The Périgord, Burgundy and Brittany are also developing this format, notably through independent spa hotels and luxury gîtes.
